With menu options like Big Boss Bad Penny Braised Pork Shank, Hatteras Stuffed Flounder, and Banana Pudding, you’ll be primed for this musical celebration of America’s relationship to our land, our resources, and ourselves.

NC State LIVE invites you to join us for an Americana-inspired prix fixe dinner at 1887 Bistro.

Conveniently located just off the lobby of Stewart Theatre, 1887 Bistro offers an intimate setting and spectacular views.

Seating begins at 5:30pm, for those who want to arrive early and enjoy a relaxing dinner before the 8pm ETHEL concert.

SALADS*

Crisp Ice burg Wedge with Bacon, Bleu Cheese and Fresh Herbs topped with Cornbread Croutons and a cheese crisp.
Fresh Corn and Tomato Salad with Fresh Herbs

*Both Salads are served with a small cup of Vegetarian White Bean Chili

ENTRÉES

Big Boss Bad Penny Braised Pork Shank: Local pork shank braised in Raleigh’s own Big Boss Brewing Company’s “Bad Penny Ale” served over soft polenta and seasonal vegetables.

Hatteras Stuffed Flounder: Flounder filled with jumbo lump crab meat and garnished with a lemon butter sauce, served with saffron rice and seasonal vegetables.

Fresh Baked Stuffed Sweet Potato: NC Sweet Potato fresh baked and stuffed with a blend of black beans, farm fresh tomatoes, green chili and garnished with house made guacamole and sliced avocado served on a bed of seasonal vegetables.

DESSERTS

Trio of Mini tarts served with a scoop of Howling Cow vanilla ice cream

Dinner includes fresh-baked bread with whipped butter, and drink choice of coffee, iced tea, water, or sparkling cider (non-alcoholic). Two glasses of beer or wine included.
