Pre & Post-show Talks

Engage with Performances: Pre & Post-Show Talks

What and who inspires an artist? How does their work and aesthetic evolve? Does the audience have a role in the creative process? These and other intriguing questions and topics are examined in pre and post-show talks hosted by NC State LIVE.

Led by educators, critics, leading experts—and sometimes the artists themselves—these engaging conversations enrich the performance experience and illustrate the artistic, social, political or personal aspects of the artist’s work.

This year’s discussion lineup promises enriching and entertaining preludes to many of the NC State LIVE mainstage performances of the season. We invite you to enjoy these stimulating conversations in comfortable spaces conveniently located near the theatres. Simply show up to join the conversation.

Questions? Contact Stephanie Clark at 919.513.3052 or stephanie_clark@ncsu.edu if you have questions about our pre-show discussions or events.
