Lucky Plush – Game Night!
PRESENT
Experience dance beyond the stage and join acclaimed members of Chicago-based Lucky Plush Productions for a live-action game inspired by the classic board game Clue.
Ideal for non-dancers! Game nights will include wine, snacks, and other refreshments to get you in the mood.
Drawing from the creation process for their newest dance-theater work, Rooming House, Lucky Plush invites participants to “play” a handful of stories based on personal experience and current events. This live-action game will set in motion playful and profound interpretations and understandings of the stories we tell: who has agency around life-changing events and what compels us to behave the way we do (is it fear, guilt, love)?
You may not meet Colonel Mustard or Miss Scarlett, but you will have the opportunity to meet new friends (not to mention these clever artists).
These game nights are limited to 12 participants each, so be sure to sign up soon! Please note that location and time is different depending on which night you register:
- In RALEIGH: Tuesday, September 12 at 7:00pm at NC State’s Stewart Theatre. $20
- In DURHAM: Thursday, September 14 at 7:30pm at ADF’s Samuel H. Scripps Studios. $20
Let the games begin.
