They’re coming back! Australia’s delightful and mind-blowing Gravity & Other Myths was part of our first season when we returned to Stewart Theatre in 2015. They’ll be back in the States with a new show – Ten Thousand Hours – a production that celebrates the dedication and perseverance required to achieve greatness, all with their characteristic sense of humor.

Featuring eight world-class acrobats and one musician, Ten Thousand Hours explores how physical skill is obtained, perfected, and how it can transform lives. Through breathtaking acrobatics, these exceptional circus artists pay tribute to the countless hours of practice behind every movement.

Black Box Dance Theatre has been working with service members and veterans for over a decade. In residence with NC State LIVE for the 2026-27 season, they will bring our military, veteran and student population into the creative process with the multimedia dance performance, PATRIOT.

Manual Cinema’s
The 4th Witch
March 31 at 7:30 p.m.

Told through breathtaking shadow puppetry, Manual Cinema’s latest theatrical experience is an inversion of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Don’t miss their Emmy Award-winning mix of low-fi technology (think vintage overhead projectors and handmade puppets), cutting-edge multimedia techniques and rapturous live music.
